Jim Grise took a 15-month sabbatical from UHNW employers

to learn advanced lessons in private service

from the homeless of New York City.

The Conversation
Imagine stepping away from your screen and enjoying a real conversation,
a place where people can talk with each other, instead of at each other.

A conversation that guides you toward better relationships with your staff, toward better service for yourself and family.

We create safe spaces for real, in-person conversations, with those wanting great service in their home.

“Great communication begins with connection.”

―
Oprah Winfrey

The Consultant
Beginning his domestic service career as the Houseman for a large oceanfront estate in Hawaii, Jim has since worked as a Butler, House and Estate Manager, and the owner of a domestic employment agency. After graduating from the Guild of Professional English Butlers, he studied the humanity of Jesuit Catholic values at University of San Francisco, completing his Bachelor of Science in Organizational Behavior & Leadership.

Jim recently took a 15-month sabitacal from UHNW employers to learn advanced lessons in private service, from the homeless of New York City, serving hands-on inside a crowded shelter of 200 men battling mental health crises, substance abuse, searing loneliness, tremendous stress, and the heartbreak of broken families, conditions well known within all economic walks of life, learning the tangible value of compassion in service to everyone.

Jim has recently returned as a House Manager in midtown Manhattan, in addition to consulting services to those estates ready for service team success.
The Commitment
There is no financial cost other than the value of your time itself the commitment requires.

Estate owners and their staff, both, who are committed, will find their investment paying relentless dividends ― in perpetuity.

"You have to maintain a culture of transformation

and stay true to your values."

― Jeff Weiner

Talent Assessment

Staff are often sent to training to correct problems that training can never correct. Jim understands when training can improve performance results, and when it's used to avoid having honest conversations.

Tactical Leadership

Success through values is simple, yet not easy, and the stronger estates will always refrain from the comforting familiarity of disaster. Those who can commit soon realize that team success can be theirs.

Estate Citizenship

Individual skills and experience are overrated; what matters is the strength to work on teams. Jim helps you create the environment needed for great service teams to keep the right staff onboard.

The Mission
To help our clients create the environments required for authentically caring and effective domestic service teams.

"The benefits of having a functional staff on your estate must, first, outweigh the benefits enjoyed from having a dysfunctional one.
After that is realized, the entire process is refreshingly simple."

― Jim Grise

The Values
Compassion.

Inclusion.

Support.

"A leader is best when people barely knows he exists,
when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say:
'we did it ourselves'."

― Lao Tzu

The Vision
"...to know even one life has breathed easier because you lived.
This is to have succeeded."

― Ralph Waldo Emerson

The vision of Estate Humanity is for compassion to
become the platinum standard of service success. To help
everyone we meet to breathe easier.
